Chris Peters is a composer, producer, session musician, performer, and instructor. His guitar work includes a wide range of styles: jazz, rock, funk, fusion, country and R&B. His influences are guitarists Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Tom Scholz, Ryan Newell and others.

Musical Training
Chris has over 20 years combined music training: 10 years piano with renowned pianist Michael Kramer, 3 years clarinet, and 7 years guitar with Dave Hopwood.

Performer
Chris is a rock and jazz instrumentalist performing live as a solo or ensemble. He has performed his unique blend of funk, rock, R&B and smooth jazz solo at the Winter Park Fall Sidewalk Art Festival, Heathrow Festival of the Arts, Orlando Public Library, church festivals, corporate functions, private celebrations, and local events.
  Chris has played lead guitar in the stage productions of "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat ."
  Chris was a featured artist at JemFest Orlando 2007 and was selected as one of 10 finalists to participate in Guitar Player magazine's Guitar Hero competition in San Francisco on October 12, 2007.
  His band StringTheory has performed at The Social in Orlando, Adobe Gilas-Pointe Orlando, Heathrow Festival of the Arts, Lake Mary History Days, and other local festivals and events. They were also featured performers at JemFest Orlando 2006.

~Billy Graham Library - Composed, engineered, and performed music for "A Response To   Troubled Times" multimedia exhibit.
~Silicon Optix - Composed, engineered and performed music for promotional demo.
~Cheese Wagon Derby - Composed, engineered and performed music for film currently in   production.

Guitar Instruction
~Chris has been offering personalized guitar instruction to students of all ages from   beginner to advanced since 1997. He is currently accepting new students at the Music
  & Arts Centers located in Orlando at Millenia and in Sanford, Florida.
~Chris is the Jazz Guitar Adjunct Professor at Seminole Community College in Sanford.
~Chris develops and conducts guitar workshops for private parties and organizations.   Clients include Annunciation Catholic Academy and the Orange County Library System.
